The Xihu Bridge in Shaoyang is a three-span concrete-filled steel tube (CFST) tied-arch bridge. After years of operation, it is subjected to multiple damages. As for the bridge reinforcement project, some researches on relevant technical problems and scientific research tasks are also carried out, based on the project design tasks. It was granted the second prize for Hunan Provincial Excellent Municipal Public Engineering Design Project Award.
