The Xiang River Dayuandu Navigation & Hydropower Complex in Hengyang is a pilot project for the Ministry of Transport to “combine and hydropower and promote navigation by hydropower” in inland river. The arrangement of its main buildings and dams is originated in our country. The project was rolled out across the country as an inland navigation model by the Ministry of Transport; and was granted the National Quality Project Silver Award and the National Excellent Engineering Bronze Award.
