The Taoshui Reservoir Dam Project is a large Type (II) reservoir project, which has the functions such as flood control, power generation, irrigation, aquaculture, tourism and urban water supply. The dam height is 102.5 m, the total reservoir capacity is 515 million m3 and the flood control storage is 100 million m3; the installed capacity of power station is 69,000 kilowatts, with an annual electricity production of 150 million KWH. This project is listed as a pilot project for the reform of the investment and financing system for large-scale hydraulic infrastructure.
