As for Niaozhuyuan Sluice Reinforcement Project, the maximum discharge through the sluice is more than 5,000 m3/s (6,479 m3/s for a 100-year return period). The designed irrigation area is 10,400 mu; the total installed electricity generation capacity is 750kw; the maximum water-retaining height of the sluice is 3 m.
