The Dongting Lake Bridge over Dajiecun-Yueyang Expressway is a suspension bridge with the main span of 1,480 m. It is under construction and ranks in the world’s top ten among similar large bridges; granted the second prize for Science and Technology Award of China Highway & Transportation Society.
